Learn More About One of the Best Resorts in Estes Park

On a warm Memorial Day Weekend in the year 2000, The Estes Park Resort officially opened its doors to the public as Lake Estes’ only lakefront resort. Featuring sprawling views of the Rocky Mountains, the Continental Divide, Twin Sisters, and Long’s Peak, The Estes Park Resort quickly stationed itself among the best resorts in Estes Park.

Ten years later in 2010, The Estes Park Resort was purchased by its current owners and underwent a complete renovation of all guestrooms, public spaces, and amenities. These renovations saw the creation of The Waterfront Grille and a new fitness center outfitted with top-of-the-line exercise equipment.

In May of 2013, the Waterfront Grille introduced a new menu, curated with innovative dishes featuring locally grown, fresh ingredients. Having become a staple of the Estes Park dining scene, The Waterfront Grille became a popular destination for hotel guests, locals, and group events.

In 2013, The Estes Park Resort reached a new landmark for excellence and was voted among the local favorite resorts and best wedding venues by the residents of Estes Park. Still maintaining this standard, our Estes Park resort stands today a part of the fabric of the town and a premier travel destination in Colorado.
